Bijayshree Routray keen on working for party, not to join poll fray in 2019

Bhubaneswar: The State’s Forest and Environment Minister Bijayshree Routray on Thursday expressed his wish not to join poll battle during 2019 general elections.

Routray told OTV, “I won’t be part of the electoral politics henceforth. But I will work for the party organisation and betterment of people of the State.”

He added the promises he had given to voters ahead of 2014 general polls have been fulfilled.

Routray has been representing Basudevpur assembly constituency in Bhadrak since 1990.
