Bhubaneswar: While one of the accused in the series knife attack in capital city of Bhubaneswar which left 6 persons injured, the remaining two have been identified by the Commissionerate Police.
One has been identified as Amit Mohapatra, a law student. The second accused has been identified as Bharat Panda, an engineering college pass out, while the third Ashish Behera, is an employee of a private company. While Amit Mohapatra has been arrested, Bharat and Ashish are still on the run.

Notably, the incident occurred at around 7:30PM on Sunday when the accused riding a motor bike without registration number went on an attack spree using a beard knife and injured 6 persons in the process. The three miscreants also looted valuables from some passersby.
“We got the information at around 9PM and all the PCRs were activated immediately. After chasing we were able to nab Amit. We have raided various places to nab the other two. The efforts are on and we expect to get hold of the other two accused soon,” said Police Commissioner, YB Khurania.
