Balasore: College girl dies in accident

Balasore: In a tragic incident, a girl student was killed after being hit by a dumper near Chachia square in Baliapala road here on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Arpita Biswal, a Plus III final year student of Laxminarayan college in Jamshuli.

Following the incident, the irate locals torched the dumper and staged a road blocked at Daida chhak demanding compensation for the family members of the deceased.

Besides, the students of Laxminarayan college also blocked roads at Chachina chhak demanding construction of humps near their college.
