Baby girl rescued from Koraput to be treated at SCB Cuttack

Cuttack: The baby girl, rescued from forests of Borigumma in Koraput on Tuesday, is being brought to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack today for further treatment.

Due to deteriorating health condition of the infant, she was referred to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for better facility and treatment.

Earlier, the infant was rescued from forests of Borigumma in Koraput, crying alone near her mother’s dead body.

After the heartrending incident was informed to public by media, State Women and Child Development minister Prafulla Samal had ensured that all responsibilities of the infant will be taken care of by the State government.
