ATM set on fire in Soro

Balasore: Unidentified miscreants have reportedly set an ATM of Bank of India on fire at Uttereswar market in Soro last night.

As per sources, a police patrol team saw the ATM on fire and called the fire brigade unit, which doused the flames within minutes.

Meanwhile, Inspector-in-Charge of Soro police station has initiated a probe.

After preliminary investigation, bank officials informed that the miscreants have decamped with Rs 11.7 lakh from the ATM and set it on fire to destroy evidence.
