Cuttack: Ollywood actor and renowned actor Mihir Das’ son Amlan Das was seriously injured in a road accident in Cuttack late on Monday night.
Two other people, who were in the car, were also injured in the accident. The two others were his driver and a friend. The incident took place when the actor was returning home after a programme in a Safari car that lost balance and hit an electric pole near the Ring bridge under the Markatnagar police station. The vehicle later fell off the bridge. Amlan sustained injuries on his head.
All the injured were admitted to a private hospital in the city. However, condition of three of them is stated to be stable now.
Mihir Das said, "The accident took place near our house in between 3am and 3.30am. But I don't know what exactly led to the accident. He has suffered deep wounds on his head and will be given stitches. However, his condition is stable now by the grace of god."
