Bhubaneswar: Panic gripped Patrapada area here after six persons sustained critical injuries in a group clash, which witnessed firing late on Friday night.
According to sources, a group of assailants attacked another group and opened fire at them over some past enmity. They also ransacked some bikes of the other group and fled.
All injured were admitted to Capital hospital, sources added.
Though the exact reason behind the attack is unknown, it is suspected that the attack is linked to the murder of Patrapada contractor Dillip Nayak.
Police has started investigation into the matter.
