Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has blacklisted 58 pharmaceutical companies for supplying sub-standard medicines since 2005, Health Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak told the state assembly on Friday.

Replying to a written question of BJP legislator Dilip Ray, Nayak said that 133 types of medicines supplied to the government-run hospitals by 168 pharmaceutical companies were found "not of standard quality".
