Paralakhemundi: The Gajapati police has arrested five persons including two contract killers in connection with the murder of a businessman in K. Sitapur village of Gajapati district, said a senior police official today.
“Subas Gouda of K. Sitapur killed trader Radha Krushna to avenge his brother’s murder. He had hired two contract killers from Andhra Pradesh at Rs 3 lakh,” said Gajpati SP, Amulya Kumar Das.
Subas' brother & son helped him in executing the murder plans, he added.
“The arrests were made after raids at different places in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha,” informed Gajapati SP.
Radha Krushna was shot at main bazaar of K.Sitapur. The businessman was admitted to the Paralakhemundi district headquarters hospital in a critical condition where he breathed his last.
