5 bikes torched after group clash in Khurda

Khurda: Five motorcycles were set abalze after a group clash turned violent in Samantarapur village under Khurda Town police limits late last night.

Besides, three persons have also been injured in the clash and admitted to a hospital in Bhubaneswar.

According to reports, two groups of Samantarapur and Uparasahi were engaged in a pitched battle after unidentified miscreants torched a car and mini truck parked outside teak garden of a resident of the village and damaged CCTV cameras installed at the spot.

Following the clash, the local police reached the spot and started a probe after registering cases against 30 persons in connection with the incident.
