Anandapur: Four persons were injured in LPG cylinder explosion at Bankhidi village under Anandapur police limits in Keonjhar district on Friday night.
As per sources, the explosion was triggered after a fire mishap at house of one Chakradhar Barik in the village. The incident occurred when the villagers were attempting to douse the flames, the cooking gas cylinder inside the house exploded.
Four persons injured in the blast were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. One of the injured has been shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack as his condition deteriorated.
It was only due to the efforts of the local fire brigade, the situation was brought to control.
