3 injured in cylinder blast in Bolangir

Bolangir: Three persons including a woman sustained injuries after a fire broke out when the cooking gas cylinder exploded in a house in Rajiv Nagar of the town this morning.

The injured were rescued by fire personnel who reached the spot after receiving information.

Later with the help of locals, fire personnel rushed the injured to the Bolangir hospital for medical treatment.

Abani Kumar Swain, Fire officer, Bolangir, said, "Preliminary probe shows gas leakage caused the spread of fire."
