3 held for illegal transport of explosives

Bolangir: Police have arrested three persons, including Kantabanji Nagar BJP president Murarilal Agrawal and his son Mahesh Agrawal in connection with the seizure of huge cache of explosives from Sadeipali in Bolangir district.

Besides the two, another Sudam Mahaling of Sadeipali village under Bolangir Sadar was arrested allegedly for illegal trade of explosive items. On Wednesday, police arrested the three while they were illegally transporting the explosive items.

The worth of the seized explosive materials is around Rs 10 lakh, said Bolangir SDPO Narayan Nayak today.
