2 shops destroyed in fire near Rabi Talkies square

Bhubaneswar: Two shops at a market complex located near Rabi Talkies here turned into ashes after a fire broke out today.

The shops including a computer repairing outlet in the upper storey were completely damaged.

Though the exact reason behind the fire will be known after a probe, short circuit is suspected to be the cause, a fire officer said.

He added the fire was severe due to presence of inflammable plastic items in the shops.
