Bhubaneswar: As many as 15,000 students from Odisha are appearing in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Phase 2 examination, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today.

The entrance test, in which as many as 4.5 lakh students are appearing all over India, began at 10 am and ended at 1 pm.

The examination is being held at 20 centres across Odisha.

The NEET is a national level medical entrance test that is conducted to screen and shortlist candidates for admission to different medical and dental academic programmes across the country.

Notably, the final results for NEET will be released on August 17. The counseling session for the NEET candidates would begin from August 18 and continue till September 30.
