12-hr Muniguda bandh hits normal life

Rayagada: Vehicular traffic was disrupted and shops remained closed in Muniguda due to a 12-hr bandh observed by the Muniguda Development Council demanding revenue sub-division status to the area.

Members of the development council blocked roads by placing tyres, thereby affecting vehicular traffic to Kalahandi, Rayagada, Ambadola, Biswanathpur and Gunupur.

They also sought for a notified area council (NAC) tag to Muniguda.

Similarly, a 12-hr bandh was called by the local traders’ association in Bissamcuttack with a demand for sub division status to the area.
