Angul Bus Mishap: Govt forms three-member probe committee

Angul: With the death of six passengers in a tragic road accident near Tukuda in Angul district this afternoon, the district administration, acting on the directive of the state government, formed a three-member committee to probe into the incident.

Making an announcement to this effect in the media in the evening, Angul Collector Anil Kumar Samal said the Angul Sub Collector, Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) and Regional Transport Officer (RTO) are the members of the committee.

“The Committee has been directed to submit its report by tomorrow,” he added.

The Collector further said as per the preliminary investigation, negligence of the driver could be the cause of the accident.
