Body of Odia migrant labourer who died in Hyderabad reaches home

Kalahandi: The body of an Odia migrant labourer of Kokasara in the district who died three days back in Hyderabad was brought to his native place today.

The deceased has been identified as Trailokya Khamari, a resident of Gahanamunda village under Kokasara block.

As per reports, two months back Khamari had gone to Hyderabad and was working there as labourer in a paint factory. He was staying in Hyderabad with his wife and two children.

Khamari died three days back after suffering a cardiac arrest however, his family which does not have any other earning member faced lot of hardships while bringing back his body due to financial hurdles.

"We urged the government to provide assistance to the kin of the deceased," said social worker Digambar Duria.
