Bhubaneswar: Daily direct flight operations from Bhubaneshwar to Varanasi and vice versa will commence from January 31, 2020, Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) Director VV Rao informed on Tuesday.
Alliance Air has deployed its 70-seater ATR 72 600 aircraft for the flight operations which will depart from Bhubaneshwar at 12.15 pm and arrive in Varanasi at 2.05 pm. The return flight 9I 748 will depart from Varanasi at 2.30 pm and reach Bhubaneshwar at 4.20 pm.
The option of daily direct flights between the two destinations will reduce the travel time making it convenient for passengers.
BPIA Director VV Rao informed that an all-inclusive one-way fare between Bhubaneshwar and Varanasi and vice versa will start at INR 3470/- only.
