Cuttack: A major train mishap was averted on Tuesday when bogies of the Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express uncoupled near Kathajodi bridge. However, no passenger was hurt in the mishap, informed a railway official.
As per reports, a separation of two coaches occured in the Rajdhani Express following which the train halted on Kathajodi bridge. The separation was between two coaches - B/3 and B/4 coaches, stated the official.
Meanwhile, an inquiry into the incident has been reportedly by the Khurda Divisional Railway Manager (DRM).
Till the last report came in, the Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express had already started rolling on the tracks after the railways carried out maintenance work on a pilot basis.
