Puri: A Puri-based lawyers' association has reportedly sent a legal notice to e-commerce giant Amazon over alleged unauthorised sale of "Nirmalya Mahaprasad" of Lord Jagannath through online.

The CEO of Amazon India has been given 20 days time to reply on the matter. The lawyers have threatened to approach the court and file a petition if the e-commerce major does not come up with a satisfactory reply on the matter and stop the sale of Nirmalya, informed Biswajit Pradhan, a lawyer with the Puri Lawyers' Association
