4-year-old boy crushed by thresher in Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda: In a tragic incident, a minor boy died after getting stuck in a paddy thresher at Barangamala village under Tiliya panchayat in Jharsuguda district this morning.

According to reports, one Krushna Chandra Bhoi was threshing grain in the thresher in his farmland when his four-year-old son, who was playing nearby, accidentally got trapped inside the machine.

“I was threshing paddy when he accidentally got stuck in the machine. Later, the machine was opened and he was taken to the hospital,” said Bhoi.

Although the kid was rushed to the hospital in a critical condition, he was declared brought dead by doctors.
