4 of family found dead in Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: In a bizarre incident, four members of a family including two women were found dead under mysterious circumstances at Mahishapat area in Dhenkanal town on Tuesday. The exact reason of the death is not yet known, but police after primary investigation claimed it to be a case of suicide.

Wife of Arjun Sahu, two sons and daughter, who have been staying in Mahishapat area for the last 10 years, allegedly took an overdose of quinine tablets leading to the deathlast night, Sahu said. All of them were rushed to district headquarters hospital in the following morning where doctors declared them brought dead.

Police seized the bodies for postmortem and registered a case in this regard. The cause of the death can only be ascertained after the post-mortem report is obtained, they said.
