4.4 magnitude earthquake hits Jharkhand, tremors felt in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Mild tremors triggered panic among residents of several parts in Mayurbhanj district on Saturday. According to reports, tremors were felt in Rairangpur, Bisoi, Gorumahisani and Bahalada areas at around 6:20 AM today.

Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar HR Biswas informed that a moderate earthquake of 4.4 magnitude hit Jharkhand. The epicentre of the quake was at Saraikela district while there are no reports of any damage or casualties in Odisha.
