Bhanjanagar: Notorious criminal Baya Gouda sustained bullet injuries on his leg in a police encounter at Bardhangada forest near Sorada here in Ganjam district today.
As per police reports, Baya is a hard core criminal and has been involved in various criminal activities like murders and attempt to murder charges.
He has been admitted to Sorada health centre. Police seized a mouser and three live bullets from him.
