Dhenkanal: Two Class VIII students of Brajanath Badajena High School (BB High School) in Dhenkanal town who went missing on Sunday are yet to be traced.

As per reports, Ayushman Nayak and Om Prakash Parida, both class VIII students hailing from Kunjakanta and Gudianali areas respectively went out on Sunday morning informing their parents that they were going to the stadium.

Sameer Ranjan Nayak, father of Ayushman said, "I don't really know whether they were abducted or simply ran away. It's been three days since they went missing and we are really worried about them."

Sarita Parida, the mother of Om Prakash said, "My son is missing since Sunday 6:00 AM. He went to the stadium with Ayushman but hasn't returned since."

"Though both of them took their own bicycles, only my son's cycle could be recovered from the stadium," added Sarita.

Anupama James, the Superintendent of Police of Dhenkanal district confirmed that an FIR has been registered at the Town Police Station and search is on.
