2 Killed, 20 Injured As Mini Bus Overturns In Rourkela

Sundergarh: At least two persons were killed while twenty other passengers injured after the minibus they were travelling in overturned near Balu Ghat in Rourkela on Sunday.

The bus was en-route to Rourkela from Lathikata. The mishap occurred after the vehicle hit the road divider, sources said.

Following the incident, one person died on the spot while other passengers were immediately shifted to Rourkela government hospital where one other passenger reportedly succumbed to his injuries.

A child, who sustained critical injuries in the accident, has been shifted to Burla for necessary treatment. As per reports, the condition of seven more passengers is said to be critical.
