Khurda: A series of robberies at Atri village in Baghamari Police limits of Khurda district rocked the area after no less than 15 households reported theft on Wednesday night.
As per reports, the miscreants allegedly broke into the homes and looted cash and jewelleries. However, the exact amount of cash and property robbed is yet to be ascertained by the police.
Following complaints by the villagers, the local police reached the spot and launched a probe to nab the miscreants.
Speaking to media, the Additional SP of Khurda, Krutibasa Jena said, “We have launched an investigation based on complaints lodged. The scientific team is already on the spot and we’ll catch the miscreants soon.”
