Rayagada/Boudh: At least 15 persons were injured in two separate road accidents in Rayagada and Boudh districts late last night.
In Rayagada, 12 persons were injured after the van they were travelling in rammed into a tree near Dhabagudi in the district.
While ten of the injured were admitted to Muniguda hospital, two critically injured persons were shifted to the Rayagada hospital.
Sources said the van was en route to Bissamcuttack from Daringbadi in Khandhamal district when the mishap occurred.
In Boudh, three persons, including the driver and helper of a gas cylinder-laden truck, were injured late last night after the driver lost control and the vehicle slid off road near Jogipathar in the district.
All the injured were first admitted to Purunakatak hospital and later shifted to Burla Medical College and Hospital after their condition deteriorated.
