12-ft-long python rescued in Rayagada town

Rayagada: A 12-foot-long python was rescued from a house in Gayatri Nagar area of the town today. As per reports, the snake entered the house of a resident of Lane no-5 in Gayatri Nagar and swallowed a chicken.

After getting the information, one Pradeep Kumar Senapati, who works as an auto-rickshaw driver reached the spot and rescued the python from the house.

Later the snake was handed over to the Forest staff.
