Youth Critical After Being Hit By 'Sub-Collector's Vehicle' In Bhubaneswar

Tension ran high near Xavier Square in Bhubaneswar on Thursday evening when one person sustained critical injuries after being hit by a four-wheeler. The vehicle involved in the accident is said to be the official vehicle of Angul sub-collector. However, it was not immediately ascertained whether the sub-collector was present in the vehicle or not when the mishap occurred. Following, the mishap, police rushed to the spot and tried to pacify the protestors.
In a related incident, two persons were killed while another critically injured after the bike they were travelling hit a stationary tanker near Durlaga on Jharsuguda-Sundergarh road.
