Mamita Meher Murder: Kegaon IIC Suspended

Odisha police on Thursday suspended inspector-in-charge (IIC) of Kegaon police station, Damu Paraja for dereliction of duty in connection with the murder case of lady teacher Mamita Meher that has triggered a political storm in the State.

“Paraja has been suspended for dereliction of duty in the murder of the lady teacher at Sunshine English Medium School at Mahaling in Kalahandi,” said Kalahandi SP Saravana Vivek.
