Cuttack Trader Critical After Knife Attack, Accused Detained

A business suffered life-threatening injuries after he was allegedly attacked with knife by a man at Durga Mandap Chhak of Jobra in Cuttack on Wednesday. The victim, Pravat Sahu, of Mallasahi is said to be an ice cream distributor. He suffered severe cut injuries to his neck. He was admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in a critical condition. The attack is reportedly a fallout of past enmity. The accused has been detained at Malgodown police station.

Two Children Drown In Canal In Odisha's Paradip

Two minor children were drowned in a canal in Paradip's Lakpada slum on Wednesday. As per reports, the two kids aged around four years old were playing on the canal embankment when they accidentally fell into the canal.
