Former IFS officer Abhaykant Pathak emerged out of ED office following 11 hours of questioning in connection with an alleged money laundering case involving a transaction of Rs 8 cr. The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Tuesday imposed curbs on observing Mahalaya at Bindu Sagar pond in Bhubaneswar to keep COVID 19 from spreading further.

As per the Chief Ministers Office (CMO), the Sub-Inspectors will head the 216 police outposts in the State. Earlier, these outposts were managed by Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) rank officers. It is hoped that the experience and training of the Sub-Inspectors in investigation and other aspects will play a crucial role in checking crime at the outpost level.

The question papers of the Odisha Physical Education Teacher (PET) exam, scheduled to be held on Tuesday, were allegedly leaked.
As per reports, a handwritten question paper, claimed to be of PET exam, along with its answers went viral on social media. Meanwhile, a complaint has been lodged about the incident on Tuesday morning.
As per the complaints, the question paper was sold at around Rs 2 lakh.
However, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Das has refuted the claims.
"I don't think there is any truth behind such claims. The exams will begin at 10:30 am. We can say anything about the matter after the question paper package is opened at the exam centres," said Das.
"I have received the copies of the papers circulating on social media and will compare those with today's question papers. But, I don't think such an incident could have happened," he added.
"Respecting the emotions of the devotees, the collector has decided to allow them to visit the temple from 5 am to 2 pm for 'darshan'. However, section 144 will be clamped from 2 pm to 5 am during which the chariot pulling ceremony will be conducted." More
