Ganja Worth Rs 1 Crore Seized From Truck In Odisha's Gajapati, 2 Arrested

Police on Sunday seized 20 quintals of Ganja from a granite-laden truck near Mandrabaju village under Adava police limits in Gajapati district and arrested two persons involved in the smuggling. The arrested duo was identified as Ravi Singh and Raju Singh of Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh. As many as 70 sacks of Ganja were seized from the truck while the contraband was being smuggled from R.Udayagiri area to Uttar Pradesh. The police said that the estimated value of the seized ganja will be Rs 1 crore.

Pipili Bypoll Results: BJD Maintains Lead Of 16,640 Votes After 15th Round Of Counting 

The ruling BJD has maintained leads in the bypoll to the Pipili Assembly Constituency. The party’s candidate Rudra Pratap Maharathy increased lead by a margin of 16,640 votes after the end of 15th round of counting.
