Farmers' Registration For Kharif Paddy Procurement Extended In Odisha

The Odisha government on Monday announced extension of deadline for registration of farmers for procurement of paddy during Kharif season by seven days. Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister Ranendra Pratap Swain informed that the deadline has been extended till August 23. He said 10,14,735 farmers have registered themselves for the paddy procurement so far.
