The Odisha unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday announced formation of a 17-member state-level municipal committee to strengthen the party in the State.
The committee has been constituted following the approval of the party’s State president Samir Mohanty. While KV Singh Deo has been made President of the committee, Krushna Chandra Mohapatra named state coordinator. Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi, party MLAs Jai Narayan Mishra and Jayant Sarangi, among others have been named members of the panel.
