In a tragic incident, as many as three persons, including a woman and her two daughters were killed after a car in which they were travelling hit a roadside tree on National Highway-26 near Chancher under Kesinga Police Station on Tuesday.
According to sources, the mishap took place when the car was on its way to Bolangir. The driver lost control over the vehicle and banged into the tree in high speed.
Father of the two deceased minor girls also sustained critical injuries in the mishap. He has been admitted to Kesinga Hospital.

Vigilance sleuths conducted a raid at a senior clerk's residence in Sakhipada in Sambalpur district on Tuesday. The raid was conducted over the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets.
