Bhubanswar: In an extreme act of violence, a youth on Saturday allegedly killed his two-year son and mother in Keonjhar’s Talpada village which comes under Daitari police limits.
After killing his son, the accused identified as Naba Juang also killed his mother, suspecting her knowledge about the incident.
Earlier Juang took his son Nanda from his wife. As he got outraged for some reason, he stood on his son’s neck — killing him on the spot.
Till his mother turned up at 12 PM next day, Juang locked himself indoors. As his mother possibly found out about his heinous act, the scared Juang killed his mother with a big stone. Afterwards she died in a hospital, sources said.
Meanwhile, villagers have caught Juang while attempting suicide and admitted him into the hospital.
