Jhargram (WB): An youth was hacked to death allegedly by his uncle on Thursday evening during a quarrel over farm land at Jhargram in West Midnapore district.

The police said 22-year-old Ramu Mohapatra was killed by his uncle Kartik Mohapatra during a quarrel in their residence at Paper Mill More.

Ramu died on the spot after he was beaten up by bamboo pole and hacked to death, the police said. Kartik was arrested, sources said.
