New Delhi: A 42-year-old woman, who was involved in a murder case along with her husband, was arrested for allegedly possessing fake Indian currency with a face value of Rs 23,000, police said today. Alka Grover was arrested yesterday from Vijay Vihar in Outer District after police laid a trap and recovered Rs 23,000 from her possession.

During interrogation, the accused disclosed that she along with one Tajender and Vinod made fake currency notes by using some "equipment" at her house. "After making these fake currency notes they supplied them in Punjab and Haryana," a senior police official said.
