The trough runs from central parts of Punjab to north Bangladesh across the cyclonic circulation over central parts of Haryana, central parts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, north Gangetic West Bengal, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday.
As per IMD, several parts of Odisha are currently experiencing thunderstorm activities. Similarly, there will be no large change in the maximum temperature (day temperature)for next 6-7 days over the districts of Odisha.
However, the maximum temperature (day temperature) is very likely to be equal and above 40°C in isolated pockets in the districts of Sambalpur and Bargarh.
The IMD has also issued orange and yellow warning for thunderstorm activities in different districts of Odisha.
