Thunderstorm with lightning alert issued for several Odisha districts; Check IMD’s forecast

As per IMD’s Regional Centre in Bhubaneswar, Boudh district recorded the highest maximum temperature of 43 degrees on Saturday. However, several parts of the State are likely to experience moderate drop in day temperature due to thunderstorm activities in coming days.

Thunderstorm alert for Odisha

 After reeling under intense heat and humid conditions, the people of Odisha can expect a break as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain and thunderstorm activities till June 2 in the State.

As per IMD’s Regional Centre in Bhubaneswar, Bolangir district recorded the highest maximum temperature of 42.2˚C degrees on Saturday. However, several parts of the State are likely to experience moderate drop in day temperature due to thunderstorm activities in coming days.
