After reeling under intense heat wave conditions, several districts in Odisha are currently witnessing some change due to rain-related activities triggered by thunderstorms. This has brought the maximum or day temperature down considerably in some parts of Odisha in the last few days.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday predicted that several parts of Odisha will continue to experience thunderstorms with lightning, gusty winds, and hail for the next few days till March 24.
As per IMD, the maximum temperature (day temperature) in Odisha is very likely to fall by 3 to 5 degree C during the next three days, and no large change thereafter over the districts of Odisha.
