Odisha is currently under the grip of intense cold conditions that have been prevailing for the past few days. Normal life in several districts, especially during night and early morning is getting affected due to such extreme conditions.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday informed that there would be no change in the minimum temperature in Odisha during the next four to five days.
G. Udaygiri in Kandhamal district recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 8 degrees Celsius on Sunday night. The Twin Cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar recorded a minimum temperature of 13.5 degrees C, said IMD.
As per the IMD, several parts of Odisha are likely to experience light to moderate fog in the next three days.
