Respite likely from heat as IMD predicts rain, thundershower in Odisha from March 15

“There will be no large change in the maximum temperature (day temperature) over the districts of Odisha during the next 4-5 days,” the IMD said.

IMD Predicts Rainfall in Odisha

Several places in Odisha are likely to get relief from the scorching heat as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain and thundershower activities from March 15 under the influence of western disturbance.

According to a bulletin issued by the IMD’s Regional Centre in Bhubaneswar, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Koraput, Malkangiri and Rayagada on March 15. However, dry weather is very likely to prevail over the remaining districts.
