Rain, Thunderstorm Alert For Odisha Districts Till Nov 2; Check IMD’s Latest Weather Update
Several parts of Odisha, including Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Kandhamal and the coastal districts, will experience light to moderate rain or thundershower in the next 24 hours, predicted India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday.
As per IMD, the trough in easterlies now runs from the cyclonic circulation associated with the low pressure system over southwest Bay of Bengal off Sri Lanka coast to northwest Bay of Bengal.
It is worth mentioning that there has been a considerable drop in the maximum temperatures at one or two places over north coastal Odisha in the past 24 hours.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of coastal Odisha, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Kandhamal and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
Day-2 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 29.10.2021 up to 0830 hrs IST of 30.10.2021)
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of coastal Odisha,Malkangiri, Koraput and Rayagada.
