There will be no large change in the minimum temperature (night temperature) during the next two days and thereafter it is expected to rise by 2 to 4 degrees C in the subsequent three days over the districts of Odisha, informed India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday.
Already several districts in Odisha are experiencing dense fog during the early morning hours while the maximum or day temperature in some parts has seen a sharp increase in the past couple of days.
As per the IMD, shallow to moderate fog is likely to occur in several pockets of Odisha in the next two days. A yellow warning for dense fog has also been issued for some districts.

Day 1 (Valid upto 0830 hrs IST of 29.01.2025): Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur during early morning hours at a few places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Nayagarh, Khordha, Ganjam.
Yellow Warning: Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Nayagarh, Khordha, Ganjam.
Day 2 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 29.01.2025 to 0830 hrs IST of 30.01.2025)
Yellow Warning: Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur.
Day 3 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 30.01.2025 to 0830 hrs IST of 31.01.2025): Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur during early morning hours at one or two places over the districts of Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Cuttack, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh
