The conditions are becoming favourable for advancement of southwest monsoon over more parts of Odisha in the next two-three days, said the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday.
According to the weather office, there will be a change in the weather from June 20, while several parts of Odisha will receive pre-monsoon rain from June 21.
Though there is no heat wave alert for coastal and interior Odisha, heat wave warning will remain in force for several parts of western Odisha, the IMD said.

Orange Warning: Heat wave to severe heat wave condition very likely to prevail at a few places over the district of Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, deogarh, Angul, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Bolangir, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Khurda, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Boudh.
Yellow Warning: Heat wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the district of Jajpur, Kalahandi, Nuapada,Mayurbhanj.
Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning & Gusty surface windspeed reaching 40-50kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak and Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nawarangapur, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Boudh, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Gajapati, Ganjam.
