Low pressure updates: Check IMD’s latest forecast for Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal

As per IMD, the Southwest Monsoon has withdrawn from some more parts of Uttarakhand, West Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, remaining parts of Rajasthan, and some parts of Gujarat state today.

Heavy Rainfall Alert For Several States

The low pressure area over southwest Jharkhand and adjoining north Chhattisgarh now lies over south Jharkhand and neighbourhood. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday informed that it is very likely to move nearly eastwards during the next 2-3 days across West Bengal.

This will cause light/moderate rainfall over many parts with isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall over Bihar, West Bengal and Sikkim, Jharkhand and north Odisha on October 3 and 4 and over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya and Mizoram & Tripura during October 4- 6.
